Alp Dogu is a medical doctor. After working on aviation medicine, he joined the pharmaceutical industry, mainly working on antibiotics and antifungals. Since 2010 he has been working on vaccines against a multitude of diseases. Before joining a global medical team for meningococcal and pneumococcal vaccines, he was regional disease expert for meningococcal, pneumococcal, and pertussis-containing combination vaccines. His special interests include but are not limited to epidemiology and modeling of vaccine preventable diseases, and pharmacoeconomics.
