Maya Joukhadar
Public Health Technical Officer at GHD|EMPHNET under the disease control and prevention department, holds a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Paris-Sud XI, France, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with honors “Cum Laude” from the American University in Cairo. Maya demonstrates a deep-rooted commitment to enhancing public health strategies and initiatives in the EMR region. She produces impactful technical documents, aids in producing work plans, and oversees project execution by coordinating with national and international stakeholders. As a previous project officer in Caritas, Maya worked closely with UNHCR to support the medical needs of refugees.
