Zeina Abdel Majeed – EMPHNET
Zeina is a Technical Officer at the Polio and Immunization Team in the Public Health Programs Department. She provides technical assistance, consultation and guidance to develop, expand and improve projects, strategies or activities. She helps in the development of technical documents including presentations, project proposals and concept notes and performs work related to the initiation, implementation, and close-out of projects. Finally, she develops and carries out action plans related to assigned tasks/activities while preparing training material including presentations, tools, exercises, and case studies.
She holds a master’s degree in Public Health from the United Kingdom and a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Jordan. In the past, she worked as a Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance Pharmacist in ADATCO Pharmaceutical company. She also conducted a research on Antimicrobial Resistance in the United Kingdom focusing on Health Protection. She worked with Public Health England and the National Health Services (NHS) during her Masters. Her areas of expertise are Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Health Protection, Individual Change, Epidemiology and Research. She is also very interested in Mental Health, Community development and Global Health.
